TWIN-PEAKS project challenge presentations

On 24th March 2023 the “TWIN-PEAKS” project challenge presentations were held in Lithuanian Energy Institute. Project coordinator Andrius Tamošiūnas presented the project’s concept and its related activities. During the event, student groups presented what was in their opinion the most suitable future technology for converting waste into energy or recycle them for second usage. The groups’ performance was assessed by two committees: the Senior Committee, comprised of representatives of Kaunas Cogeneration Power Plant, Orlen Lietuva, Adecco and Kaunas University of Technology and the Junior Committee, comprised of students from Garliava “Jaunučių“ progymnasium and “Jono Pauliaus antrojo“ gymnasium. The event was observed by an audience of over 50 participants. The contest winners were awarded prizes set up by the event sponsors.
